David Ward (he/him) is a first year medical student at UMMS and is honored to serve as the associate director for UMAC. He was born in Vernon, CT and served as a Hospital Corpsman in the U. S.Navy for four years, after which he received a B.A. in Neuroscience from Dartmouth College. His prior experiences have led him to an interest in health equity and medical care for marginalized communities. In his free time, David loves to cheer on Michigan sports and stay active.
