Human Rights and the Asylum Process: Why Should We Care?

Please join us for this collaborative discussion between the Global Health and Disparities Path of Excellence leadership, UMAC student leadership, and Dr. Vidya Ramanathan, Director of the UM Asylum Collaborative (UMAC), on caring for and evaluating survivors of human rights abuses seeking humanitarian protection in the United States. We hope to inspire medical students and physicians toward humanitarian advocacy.
