Izzy Chiu is a first-year medical student at the University of Michigan, coming from California. Izzy attended UC Berkeley and UCLA (MPH) prior to moving to Michigan. Izzy's prior experiences in public health and with a myriad of healthcare systems have made Izzy especially passionate about expanding healthcare access for asylum seekers and uninsured populations in the United States.
